Threaded convos and ability to create groups around a topic are my takeover points. Plus @tweetworks uses straight Twitter API.

it's nice, but i don't think it'll take over - third party success is crucial. we'd need a third party tool for this third party tool.

@chewbocka I think you misread my question. I don't think Tweetworks will take over Twitter. I was asking if Twitter should buy Tweetworks.

@miketempleton oh, my bad. i don't think they necessarily need to buy them out because some of the concepts aren't difficult to custom build

The concept may not be difficult to build, but they've also got a lot on their plate already. Plus it worked for Summize.
